Resolving actions

  1. Roll as many d6 as the attribute: each 5 or 6 is a success.
  2. One success is enough for a simple task, two for a tricky one.
  3. No success never breaks anything: the attempt gives a funny or unexpected result, and a new idea.

Attributes

Pincers PIN
Digging, planting, repairing, tinkering.
Sensors SEN
Observing, analysing, spotting what shines or what moves.
Circuits CIR
Calculating, remembering, withstanding rain and cold.
Spark SPK
That little something extra the manual doesn't explain: curiosity, tenderness.

Special rules

The logbook
At the end of each scene, the robot records one line of log for the humans. Saying that line out loud recharges one lost point of energy.
Energy
The robot never dies: at zero hit points, it goes into standby until the next sunrise and switches its circuits back on with a memory of Earth in its buffer.

Character creation

Each attribute starts at 1: spread 9 extra points, up to 5 per attribute · no reroll
