Resolving actions
- Roll 1d20 and add the attribute modifier: 10 or more succeeds at an easy action, 13 at a normal action, 16 at a hard action.
- A natural 20 makes the brambles laugh, and they give a little gift; a natural 1 offends them.
Initiative : 1d20 + Skill modifier
Attributes

Special rules
- Stories
- Once per session, a character can tell the brambles a short story: their next roll uses two d20s and keeps the better one. A story that has already been told no longer works.
- The thorns
- Nobody dies in the Brambles: a character who goes down is wrapped up by the brambles and returned to the village in the morning, with a scratch and a strange memory.
